Seven years ago, when I had a nose procedure here, I was a high school student. While consulting with the doctor, I clearly stated the height and shape I wanted. (Height: 4, not too upturned nose x slightly neutral nose). The doctor said he would perform the surgery after brief sleep anesthesia, but I was not anesthetized at all (in sleep), and when he said he was starting the surgery, I appealed that I was fully conscious (sitting up on the operating table). Then he said I shouldn't sit up and forcibly laid me down. When he incised my nose, my vision suddenly cut off, and in the darkness I saw something sparkling. I couldn't tell if it hurt or if the nerves were severed, but my nose felt numb and tears just kept coming. I cried throughout the surgery and breathed roughly, similar to hyperventilation. After the surgery ended and the recovery period passed, when I removed the splint, the height was lower than expected. When I asked about this, unlike the consultation, they had inserted a height 3 implant. When I protested, they said it was no big deal and that I could have a revision surgery after the recovery period ended. I didn't want to experience that terrible experience again, but since I wasn't satisfied with my nose, I proceeded with revision surgery. Perhaps because of the experience described above, 30 minutes before the revision surgery, I had trauma as if I was having a seizure on the operating table. I barely completed the revision surgery by forcibly controlling my mind, and since my nose still wasn't satisfactory (the height didn't come out as much as the surgery suggested and my nose became upturned), when I asked, he said 'your original nose was too low so that's the limit, and regarding the upturned nose, that's how women's noses should be surgically done to be pretty.' Much time has passed and I wondered if the doctor who performed my surgery was still there, but he still is. Back then I was too young to know if it was medical malpractice, but now I understand very well. Because of that trauma, whenever I go to the dentist for treatment, I proceed with great tension.
